1) The information collected by us from you.

As you use the site, register, purchase products or services we collect certain information to customize and improve your experience on the site, to determine the types of advertisements shown on our site, and to tailor the type and content of any information or notices directed to your account. When you register with us or set up an account we collect from you PII such as name, address, email address, and phone number. We also ask for non-PII that cannot be linked back to your PII, for use as Aggregate Information (AI), and request your permission to share this information, in aggregate, with other trusted and responsible third parties. PII: Name, shipping address, billing address, city, state, country, zip, phone number, credit card number, bank account number, email address, age. AI: As you use the site we collect certain information including your IP address, the site name or URL you visited prior to entering the site, the site name or URL you visited upon leaving the site, the time spent on the site, page views, keyword searches, and site errors.

We collect certain system information about your computer as you use the site. This includes data such as your browser type, operating system, memory (RAM), modem speed, and available disk space on the hard drive. This information is used to enhance the users experience on the site so they are not shown incompatible pages or that users do not download information for which they lack adequate disk space.

We aggregate and analyze this AI further to improve the operation of our site and enhance the experience of our customers.


2) What About Cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as storage of items in your Shopping Cart. When you use our online Customer Support we request the following information: Name, shipping address, billing address, city, state, country, zip, phone number, email address, order number, product/part/service number, product/part/service name or type of problem by category, and a description of the problem or question.

When you sign up for contests, promotions, sweepstakes, surveys or on-line questionnaires we ask for various PII and AI, as defined previously, and any additional information specific to the particular event.

We may from time to time have information sent to us by third parties and may retain this information, as PII if deemed relevant by us.

4) How we use your information.

As you use the site, register, purchase products or services we collect certain information to set up your account, facilitate your purchase, customize and improve your experience on the site, and to tailor the type and content of any information or notices directed to your account.

AI that is collected as you use the site is used to customize your experience on the site, diagnose problems with the site, and for site administration.

Customer Support information is used to facilitate your inquiry, solve problems with your account and purchases, and answer any questions you have.

We us Cookies for tracking functions and maintaining your shopping cart. Our Cookies contain no PII and are small text files we store on your computer to improve your site experience and facilitate your login by remembering your password, for example. Only the server that placed the file can read these text files stored on your computer. Cookies are not required to browse the site but are necessary for registration, account set-up and making purchases. You can set your browser to disable the use of Cookies and/or to warn you when Cookies are being requested so you can determine whether to accept the Cookie.

9) Security.

We use the industry standard, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your transaction, which includes all information submitted on our secure order form. Your browser will let you know if you have a secure connection by denoting a key or closed padlock in the lower left portion of the status bar. Your post transaction data is stored on a secure server that is not connected to the Internet. We also have an appropriate industry standard security program in place. This includes technology and software based protections, on-going training of personnel in security matters and our policies, and regular reviews which result in disciplinary action (which may include prosecution) for employees who knowingly violate our procedures. Access to your information is limited to trained, authorized employees, who need to access the information during the course of performing their job function.
